Trato tells the story of Kevin, a delayed film student with two lawyer parents who, trying to escape the pressure goes into his hobby, begins to hear the comments and begins to feel pressure to choose between his own passion or the expectations others have of him

            Grounded by the self concept theory, the film views this through a lens that is very internally centered. The world view of the protagonist is affected by that which he see but is ultimately constructed by himself to make his own reality. The self doubt and the turbulence that arises from this contradiction brings an uncertainty into the life of the protagonist. This is settled by his making a choice regardless of anyone outside of the protagonist’s self is aware of the choice.
