Subject : Submission of 2009 Annual Procurement Plan for Supplies and Equipment

In line with our objective of maximizing budget utilization and in consonance with RA 9184, all procurement requests for equipment and supplies for Fiscal yar 2009 must be in accordance with he Annual Procurement Plan for Supplies and Equipment (APPSE) submitted by the requesting unit. Hence, purchase requests for items that are not specified in the units' 2009 Procurement Plan will not be allowed. Complying units, however, may be allowed to propose amendments to the APPSE they have submitted.

Conversely, no procurement requests for supplies and/ or equipment will be considered for units that failed to submit the 2009 APPSE; neither will they be issued supplied from the Central Storeroom.

In light of the foregoing, all units that have not yet submitted this year's Procurement Plan for supplies and equipment in response to memorandum MDGT-2008 are reminded to submit them not later that February 27, 2009.
