Randolf S. David

Professor Emeritus Randolf "Randy" S. David is a Filipino sociologist and journalist. A faculty member of the Department of Sociology, he also publishes the column "Public Lives" at the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
He is also known as the husband of former Civil Service Commission (CSC) chairperson Karina Constantino-David and the father of broadcast journalist Kara C. David and U.P. National Institute of Geological Sciences professor Dr. Carlos Primo C. David.
