Dr. Renato S. Velasco is a Filipino political scientist and public servant. He served in various high profile government positions such as chief of the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and Director General of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), both with the rank of Secretary. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science of the University of the Philippines, Diliman, specializing in Philippine politics, comparative politics, and political dynamics.
