DZUP is UP's community radio at 1602kHz of the AM band, with transmission power of 5,000 watts. It's also now streamed live via dilc.upd.edu.ph. Its broadcast booth is located at the College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman; analog transmitter, at Village B, UP Campus.
It goes on air with new programming starting on February 1, 2010, from 10am-8pm.

History
DZUP was established in 1957 and managed by the UP College of Engineering and the UP College of Arts and Sciences. During the First Quarter Storm in 1973, the DZUP transmitter was destroyed by government forces. Under the management of the UP College of Mass Communication, DZUP was revived in the 1980s. [1]
