General Description: Held during All Souls day. A group of singers called the “kaluluwa” (souls) go house to house while singing and they will be given alms/donations by the household. This usually occurs in several steps, 1) Pa-hesus, 2) reminders of good deeds for the parties, 3) stanzas on topics like the Virgin Mary, saints or experiences of the people and 4) the giving of alms and thanks. Also known as pangangaluluwa.
