The AC Balangay, the Graduate Student Association of the University of the Philippines Asian Center, with the support of the UP Asian Center and Japan Foundation Manila, would like to invite you and your students to the 2013 UP Asian Center Annual Graduate Students’ Conference on January 19, 2013, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center Auditorium.

The Conference is a yearly gathering of young scholars from the country and abroad interested in Philippine and Asian Studies. This year, the Conference’s theme is “The Evolving Economic Landscape of Asia: Prospects for Cooperation and Constructive Competition.” About eight (8) papers divided into two panels will be presented by participants from the Philippines, India and Taiwan.

If you are not able to attend, we would most appreciate it if you can designate a representative to come with your students.
