SINAG is the official student publication of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy of the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

History

SINAG was established in 1968. Its beginnings are traced from the time when the Philippines was facing a national situation. The students of then College of Arts and Sciences deemed the need of a venue to respond to the ongoing call to speak their minds and take a stand through an official student publication; thus the publication was born. The name was a portmanteau of sining and agham, Filipino words for arts and sciences respectively, while the portmanteau itself means ray of light in Filipino.
