Guidelines for video or webcast coverage by DILC
From Iskomunidad
- Any request for video or webcast coverage by DILC shall be made at least 2 weeks before the event.
- The requesting party (or whoever heads the event) is responsible for arranging the necessary schedule and the availability of the venue for technical setup and testing.
- The requesting party shall provide DILC with the necessary mini-DVs for the coverage.
- If the webcast coverage is requested, the requesting party is encouraged to promote the event outside the University.
- The DILC keeps the option of publicizing the video or audio recording of the event on DILC's website for public access.
- While DILC's coverage may form part of the requesting party's documentation of the event, the coverage should not be treated as the sole or major documentation of the event. The DILC is interested in sharing contents to the UP academic community and the larger public. It will not, for instance, document the process leading up to the academic event.
- DILC's coverage is limited to academic events and their major parts (such main lectures, main presentations).
- The requesting party is required to fill out this online form.
