Sampung Libong Bituin sa Ilalim ng Dagat tells the story of a deaf musician who is lead to understand the history of his brother’s disappearance by a series of dreams and visitations. Borrowing concepts from Lacanian stade du miroir psychoanalysis and transcendental cinema, the film reflects on the relationship formed by the Self, the Other, and the Wholly Other.
