Mga Puwang sa Dayami

Abstract

The film aims to get its message across by using the Marxist critique of capitalism. Capitalism is ruthless. It breeds a system where people are treated like animals - commodities which can be so easily disposed or replaced. It gives birth to imperialist countries whose capital translates to political power. Political and military power are used to repress and terrorize other countries and exhaust capital goods from them. Capitalism itself dehumanizes to sustain the war it is waging against the most marginalized: peasants, workers, women and children.
