KANLUNGAN is a stylized narrative film that explores the significance of connections and the phenomena of human deterioration and death. It is told through the accounts of a desert wanderer and his waterborne companion's search for water.
Their pursuit for an ocean in the desert is guided by semiotics and a surrealist structure whilst anchored on the basic tenet of Philippine Psychology, the Kapwa Theory.
