This research paper examines the fan art production processes of three local Sherlock fan artists, as well as their experiences in the Sherlock fandom within the photo-sharing/social networking website Tumblr, in order to explore the ways in which fandom functions as an emerging artworld. This research paper examines the fan art production processes of three local Sherlock fan artists, as well as their experiences in the Sherlock fandom within the photo-sharing/social networking website Tumblr, in order to explore the ways in which fandom functions as an emerging artworld.
