The U.P. Pre-Medical Society is a duly-recognized socio-academic organization from the College of Science, University of the Philippines, Diliman Campus.
Awarded by the Bank of the Philippine Islands as one of the Most Outstanding Volunteer Organizations in the Philippines this past year, the Society consists of young, hardworking and dedicated individuals from different degree programs united by the common passion of aiding and assisting fellow Filipinos. Since 1956, the Society has spearheaded numerous successful undertakings such as medical missions, symposia, outreach programs, blood drives, and the Survival of the Fittest (S.O.T.F.), an annual inter-high school science competition.
With a unique application process and superb pre-medical training, the Society seeks to extend this sense of community to aspiring medical students and beyond, all the while making pre-med life more colorful, as it has done so in the past 56 years.
