- Theses uploaded on iskwiki have greater accessibility and potentially wider audience than those just kept in cabinets.
- Knowledge building is a cumulative, iterative process. Scholars can build on what's already been done on a topic, and making a thesis available on iskwiki supports that process.

- If you're supported by public funds (say, your tuition is subsidized by taxes), shouldn't at least part of your work be publicly available?
