ABSTRACT

Former lovers Ace and Jack come face to face with one another in a poker game with long-time friends. The friendly poker-game turns into an intimate strip poker game as they are the only players left. The stakes rise as both players aim to be unbeatable at the game, pushing it far as they can go.

The film examines the parallelism between poker and relationships. It explores the idea of pain and subjectivity through a philosophical approach. The link between emotional and physical pain is the uncertain subjective, the gray areas in between the supposed dichotomy of labels.

It tries to capture the essence of the interaction between the characters through tight shots and visuals and tells the story of a relationship through the language and dynamics of a poker game.
