Some of our notable activities are the CS4CS Freshmen Orientation, Computorient for the Computer Science freshmen, and CURSOR Week. It also celebrates the Computer Science Week, where seminars, exhibits, and other events are held, headed by JAVA CUP, an Interschool Programming Competition. During the most – celebrated Engineering week, UP CURSOR hosts a number of fun activities including Finger Olympics (PC and Console gaming competition), You Gotta Lick It (ice cream eating contest), and the much awaited UP Sigaw, UP Hataw Cheering Competition. Through the years, UP CURSOR has proven its significance and made its presence felt in the College of Engineering. UP CURSOR won the EOEA (Engineering Organization Excellence Award) in 2006 and UP CURSOR is a consistent placer in the Engineering Week. No wonder that after 26 years, UP CURSOR is now an integral part of the department, the college, and of the university.
