One of the main objectives of this film is to exploit how superheroes or even the concept of superheroes alone affect an individual’s perception of reality; how he/she looks at different situations, events and people. It would also show how a person’s beliefs is subjected or anchored into a role model, in this case a superhero, and how it affects his/her interaction with others consciously or unconsciously.

ABSTRACT

The film centers on the story of two brothers: Richie and Don. Richie is a 10 year old boy who is not only fascinated by superheroes but also sees his older brother Don as one and among those heroic figures that he idolizes. Don is a college student who, although does not share the same passion for the super humans, he does not discourage his brother to do the same. Unknown to Richie, Don is under a state of turmoil that would question his validity as a “superhero” in his young brother’s eye.

The filmmaker believes that this is vital because it would enforce not only the idea that these literary characters are gripped in our consciousness but also the idea of a higher degree of morality which may be present in superheroes.
