ABSTRACT
This undergraduate thesis explores the boredom and hypocrisy of the middle-class and how repressive the middle-class lifestyle is. The narrative of the film is framed by Surrealism, Dreams as Wish Fulfillment and Sikolohiyang Pilipino (Filipino Psychology). The idiosyncratic manner in which the Filipino middle-class deals with particular family issues serves as context for the film's story. The middle-class setting plays an important role on the behavior of the characters of the film.
