ABSTRACT
Asan si Lolo Mê? tells the story of Grace, a mother who struggles to spare her young son from discovering the reality of death. To cover up the recent death of her son’s grandfather, Grace tells her son that his grandfather has turned into a goat and urges the rest of their family to play along.
The film takes the form of a modified fable, combining the elements of realism, fantasy, comedy, and absurdity to convey insights about belief, imagination, and childlike wonder.
