The UPM Elvis Concert is a "rock 'n roll" event run by the UP Mountaineers since the early 1990s. Traditionally the event is hosted by Romeo Lee, a UPM member and a campus punk/rock icon.

In 2011, the bands playing at the concert included The Go Signals, Flippin Soul Stompers, Coffee Break Island, Dong Abay, Dong Abay, FMD, Sleepy Heads, Pepe Smith, Jeepney Joyride, LTNS, Billy Gaga. Past Elvis concerts featured then nascent Pepe Smith, Dong Abay, Pupil, Bembol Rockers, Tado, JR and Tropical Depression. Held at UP College of Human Kinetics New Gym, the 2011 Elvis Concert is dubbed "Elvis Rides Again," in reference to a 5-year hiatus since the last UPM Elvis event.

At the concert, Romeo Lee performs his signature songs "Wild Thing" and "My Girl."

Romeo Lee on Elvis Concert

In his consultation with the UP Mountaineers, Lee stated in 2002,

Huwag kalimutan sa December 13, AS Parking Lot, ELVISIN MO'NG MUKHA MO! :-) Punto kayo sa back stage hanapin ninyo ako. Libre kayo! Huwag kayong magalaala. Tayo pa rin ang bida. Nagmamahal, Romeo

"P.S. This is my first and last email."[1]
