Description: A curing ritual practiced in Abucay in Bataan. The kagong involves 12

medikos, men and women between the ages of 45 to 60. The medikos begin the diagnosis by chanting
together in low voices as they place on a plate their medals, stones and dried leaves of different
sizes and shapes. Two men play the guitar and two or more play the banduria while the medikos dance
and shout around the patient who has been made to sit in the middle of the circle.
