General physical description: it literally means an ensemble of loud sounding instruments which consists of five instruments: a series of eight graduated bossed gongs called kulintang, a pair of wide-rimmed gongs called agong, a goblet-shaped drum called dabakan, a set of four thin-rimmed gongs called gandingan, and a small thin-rimmed gong called babandir.
