UP Travel Society
History
The University of the Philippines Travel Society is a service-oriented, non-sectarian, non-profit, and non-political student organization based in Asian Institute of Tourism, University of the Philippines, Diliman.
In the past 25 years, UPTS has embarked on various projects that have been faithful to its main objectives, that of promoting domestic travel among students, serving as a training ground for tourism-oriented students, encouraging social and environmental awareness, maintaining and developing excellent standards of service, and promoting brotherhood and camaraderie among its members.
The organization has upheld its objectives by coming up with trips to various regions in the Philippines and by organizing numerous events while simultaneously leading environmental concerns such as tree-planting missions.

Activities
Boodle Feast
A traditional Filipino lunch with the objective to strengthen the bond of the students, the different organizations, the professors and of the administration of the Institute.
Influx
To kick-off the organization's 25th anniversary, UP Travel Society organized Influx. This event was aimed to promote the organization and causes for the rest of the year.
Hyped
From the success of Influx, the UP Travel Society organized its first fund-raiser party of the year for the benefit of Musmosyalan. Hyped brought back the old school from timeless beats and fashion of the 80's and the 90's.
Bottoms Up
An all night lounge party, in celebration of UP Travel Society’s 25th Anniversary, and a fund raiser for Musmosyalan, the annual excursion program of the organization for the kids our beneficiaries.
Musmosyalan
Coined from the words 'musmos' and 'pasyalan', Musmosyalan is considered as the heart of the organization, an annual charity excursion program for the less privileged kids.
Started in 1993, the program has gone to different tourist destinations like Subic, Tagaytay, La Mesa Eco-Park, Manila Ocean Park, and other spots within the Metro.
Most recent benificiaries are kids from Gawad Kalinga - Telus, Child of Hope Foundation, and He Cares Foundation.
