Si Narra At Ang Lihim Na Silid Sa Paradiso tells the story of an 8-year old girl named Narra and her gay parent, Liwayway. The story takes a peek into their impoverished lives in the province. One eventful day, as Liwayway takes on one of the many jobs she has just to be able to feed himself and his child, they are sent to an errand that leads them to Paradiso, a beer house where the Chairman and a friend of his waits for them.
The filmmaker decided to create the film to show how the impoverished and marginalized are further exploited and oppressed by the ones holding the power in a society that adheres to a system that is only serving and benefiting primarily the rich and powerful and allows it to bend the rules ti maintain their power.
The film is also a representation of the corruption of what little goods is still in our society.
