UP Travel Society

History

The University of the Philippines Travel Society is a service-oriented, non-sectarian, non-profit, and non-political student organization based at the Asian Institute of Tourism, University of the Philippines, Diliman.

In the past 23 years, UPTS has embarked on various projects that have been faithful to its main objectives, that of promoting domestic travel among students, serving as a training ground for tourism-oriented students, encouraging social and environmental awareness, maintaining and developing excellent standards of service, and promoting brotherhood and camaraderie among its members.

The organization has upheld its objectives by coming up with trips to various regions in the Philippines and by organizing numerous events while simultaneously leading environmental concerns such as tree-planting missions.

TS @ OMEGA: A Photo Exhibit JULY 5 - 15, AIT Lobby A photo exhibit to showcase the 24 years of the organizations.

BOODLE FEAST JULY 22, AIT LOBBY A traditional Filipino lunch with the objective to strengthen the bond of the students, the different organizations, the professors and of the administration of the Institute.

CHRONIC HOUR: INFINITY IS POSSIBLE JULY 30 - MANOR SUPERCLUB-PENTHOUSE EASTWOOD CITIWALK LIBIS, QUEZON CITY An all night lounge party, in celebration of UP Travel Society’s 24th Anniversary, and a fund raiser for Musmosyalan, the annual excursion program of the organization for the kids our beneficiaries.
