2. Dropbox - an alternative to GoogleDocs. Strength: you can use your favorite word processor. Weaknesses: serial operation; not simultaneous editing; requires one's own word processor offline that is compatible with the ones used by other collaborators.
3. iskWiki! - for collaborative documentation of projects and for quickly publishing documents online. UVLe already has a wiki that students and teachers can use.

1. campfirenow.com is an a web-chat that enables you to catch up with what you missed while you weren't logged in. UVLe also has group chat.

Shared Desktop Shared desktop applications - enable you show people certain things. Writing words about something is sometimes inferior to just showing it to people.
