The U.P. CAREER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS (UP CAPES) is an organization created for the primary purpose of serving the entire Engineering Community. First, it recognizes the effort of the College, through the hard work of its faculty and administration, in producing highly skilled graduates who eventually become vital constituents in their chosen field. The objectives and goals of the organization are all in line with this effort, focusing on activities and projects that provide students adequate knowledge and training in the fields of engineering and sciences.

Preparations for an after-College career complete these endeavors, as UP CAPES continues to hold its annual Engineering Jobfair, along with a number of seminars and workshops, all geared to equip the students with the necessary job-hunting skills, information and tips. The organization looks into the future of every Engineering student, therefore coming up with only the best in terms of searching for their future employers and specifying their future jobs. For not only does it invite the best and biggest companies from in and out of the country for a week-long jobfair organized specially for the students of the College. It also seeks the best jobs that will optimize the education, talent and abilities of the Engineering graduates.
