Activities

Isabela Socio-cultural Awareness Week (ISAW)

Since 1999, UP KAISA has conducted the Isabela Socio-Cultural Awareness Week (ISAW) Celebration, a 3-day event that seeks to inspire and encourage active youth participation in nation building through various means such as lectures, forums, film showing, and socio-cultural activities.

ISAW also includes competitions like Essay Writing, Pagsulat ng Sanaysay (Essay Writing in Filipino), Poster-making, Logo-making, Extemporaneous Speaking, Quiz Bee and Cultural Show. The champion in each of these activities (except the Logo-making competition) are qualified to compete and represent Isabela in UP Sanlahi Alliance's PatalaSanlahi, a national-level academic contest for promoting the culture of different provinces, regions and ethno-linguistic groups in the country.

Provincial College Admission Review and Career Orientation (PROCARE Camp)

PROCARE Camp (previously, PROCARE) is designed to prepare the incoming senior students of various private and public high schools in Isabela for the upcoming college entrance exams, especially in the fields of Mathematics, Science, and Language Proficiency. This event also includes career orientation talks from notable personas in their respective disciplines. Thus, it is an avenue for students to appreciate college and discover what career will suit them well.
