The program was founded on October 6, 2010 and was on-air for one year from its foundation date. It used to be called "Wangwang ng Bayan" to denote the hot issue of the day then and call attention to transport concerns. The program is now called "Biyaheng Bayan!" and will be on-air starting September 5, 2018.
The advocacy of the UP-NCTS is to contribute to the attainment of inclusive transport for our cities in order to make cities efficient, safe, and socially just and equitable. Hence, a new program name is chosen to capture this advocacy, giving clear reference to inclusive and sustainable mobility. That said, we now emphatically call the program "Biyaheng Bayan!"
