Sa ‘Di Pagparam tells the story of Domingo, an old man in his early 80s, recounting a tale of his childhood during World War II in Bataan. Residing in a nursing home, he shares his story with Celine, a resident caregiver on her last day of work.

The film is a story of longing and lingering regrets for the past. Using magical realism as a tool of postcolonial discourse to push the narrative forward, it places the main character in two conflicting worlds or spaces, that of his past and of his present.
