Teresa Encarnacion-Tadem (Ph.D., University of Hong Kong) is a full professor of political science at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She served as director of the U.P. Third World Studies Center. Dr. Tadem was also a visiting research fellow at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at Kyoto University in Japan. She is the current president of the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA).
She co-edited the University's official two-volume textbook in Philippine Government and Politics Philippine Politics and Governance with former Professor Noel C. Morada (Ph.D., Northern Illinois University).
