These are the possibilities:

  1. DILC has yet to complete the verification of teaching status of the faculty.
  2. The professor does not have any teaching load this semester.
  3. The professor has declined the nomination.
  • Is this a popularity contest?

No. Although a professor's popularity may be a factor in voting, the Symposium seeks to highlight the academic passions of UP professors. The professors are supposed to be chosen on the basis of their ability to expound great ideas in their chosen fields of expertise.
