The legacy of UP TMS is founded by the THE CRUSADES, a circle of friends formed by Carl Trocio, Rommel Calimlim, and students from the university in 1995. After a while, Trocio and Marlon Castor, decided to have the group recognized by the college and the university. The Tourism Management Society was finally born on February 9, 1996 and recognized in July 1997. Its early members composed of Mel Panganiban, Dennis Lopez, Jake Hizon, Richard Ronquillo, Mitzi Canafranca, Carly Macabuhay, and PJ Ferrer. Trocio became the first president from 1996 to mid-1997. He was followed by Castor (2nd semester 1997) and Hizon (1998). | |||
