COURSE DESCRIPTION
The UP NEC Lean Six Sigma Certification Program, a comprehensive course of both Lean and Six Sigma, is an intensive 30-day training program designed to equip participants with both managerial and technical skills to be able to: • Deploy lean six sigma as a business excellence platform in organizations • Align and fuse lean six sigma improvement projects with the organizations’ strategic intent • Successfully initiate, execute and implement lean six sigma projects • Lead and manage lean six sigma improvement teams • Coach and train would-be lean six sigma experts • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in organizations
This certification program is designed for professionals in both manufacturing and service organizations and enterprises who are engaged in or planning to be:

A certification exam will be administered at the end of each module. Different levels of certification will be awarded as follows:
Master LSS Expert
• Completed at least 95% of the 10-module LSS program • Passed the certification examination with a grade of at least 95% (maximum of 3 attempts) • Completed improvement project with a grade of > 95% to be judged by a panel of experts
Associate LSS Expert
• Completed at least 95% of the 10-module LSS program • Passed the certification examination with a grade of at least 80 % but below 95% (maximum of 3 attempts) • Completed improvement project with a grade of 80% but less than 95 % to be judged by a panel of experts.
Assistant LSS Expert
• Completed at least 95% of the 10-module LSS program , • Passed the certification with a grade of at least 70 & but less than 80% (maximum of 3 attempts) • Completed improvement project with a grade of 70% but less than 80% to be judged by a panel of experts
