SELECTION OF FACULTY REGENT
- The Chair printed out that in the old rules of Faculty Regent selection, [which is done on votation basis among the various units], the Faculty REgent will come from UP DIliman. He also reported that in the last Presidential Advisory Council Meeting last September 15, the six constituent universities, other that Diliman, had [already submitted their comments on the selection of Faculty Regents]. The PAC agreed that the existing rules and procedure on the selection of Faculty Regent shall be adopted.
- He noted that the University Council has not yet met prior to the PAC meeting, but the Executive Committee met on the morning of September 15 and approved a resolution to adopt the existing rules for the selection of the Faculty Regent.
- The Chair referred the boy to the materials on the rules and procedure used int he selection of Faculty Regent on 2006 and 2007
