SUBJECT: DEMONSTRATION ON RESIDUAL WASTE MGT
This is to invite all concerned to please view the on-going demonstration of the EMRTI WASTE PULVURIZER MACHINE already set-up at the UP Vanguard quadrangle, in time for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines 2nd Joint CLR / NCR Regional Jamborette. One activity for the kids is about solid waste management, and we have requested the inclusion of the said demo.
As a possible disposal alternative for residuals, the equipment shreds styrofoam, tetrapacks, PE bags, plastic packaging, aluminum foil, and other plastics. After shredding, the fine materials are mixed with sand and cement to form [bricks].
The demonstration is only up Friday afternoon, April 18, 2008.
