UP LAW CENTER FIFTH PARALEGAL TRAINING PROGRAM

The UP Law Center Paralegal Training Program Committee is pleased to announce the launching of the Fifth Paralegal Training Program, which will start on June 9, 2015. For details and online registration, please visit the Program website at http://law.upd.edu.ph/paralegal.

Motivated to raise the standard of paralegal practice, the Paralegal Training Program is designed to provide learners with functional knowledge of legal concepts and principles; supplement practical skills; provide legal literacy to individuals to become paralegals. The Program is pursuant to the UP Law Center’s mandate as an institution dedicated to teaching, research, training and legal extension services.

The UP Law Center Paralegal Committee is composed of: Prof. Eduardo A. Labitag, Attys. Fides Cordero-Tan, Elizabeth R. Pulumbarit, Hosanna T. Ayson and Paul Kenneth B. Davis, with UP College of Law Dean Danilo L. Concepcion and Associate Dean Concepcion L. Jardeleza as Advisers.

Motivated to raise the standard of paralegal practice, the Paralegal Training Program is designed to provide learners with functional knowledge of legal concepts and principles; supplement practical skills; and provide legal literacy to individuals to become paralegals. The Program is pursuant to the UP Law Center’s mandate as an institution dedicated to teaching, research, training and legal extension services.

The UP Law Center recently completed its Paralegal Training Program with a total of 72 participants. The Paralegal Training Program covered 3 major study areas: legal fundamentals, skills training and practical applications. The Program commenced on 30 September 2014 and closing ceremonies were held on 10 December 2014. The UP Law Center Paralegal Training Committee is composed of: Prof. Eduardo A. Labitag, Attys. Fides Cordero-Tan, Elizabeth Pulumbarit, Hosanna Ayson and Paul Kenneth Davis, with U.P. College of Law Dean Danilo L. Concepcion and Associate Dean Concepcion L. Jardeleza as Advisers.
