Most people spend the rest of their lives trying to fit in, trying to find a place where they belong. It is in human nature to desire for acceptance in all forms - in his society included. This is the story of Agatha, a retiring teacher in the barrio, who seeks the acceptance of her peers. She finds this opportunity by ushering her student to win the local Math Quiz Bee, thus Carlo's triumph is her triumph.  When an old student, Ramil presents himself at her doorstep with the Math Quiz Bee's test paper, Agatha finds herself making a one-in-a-lifetime decision.
