This is the story of Agatha, a retiring teacher in the barrio, who seeks the acceptance of her peers. She finds this opportunity by ushering her student to win the local Math Quiz Bee, thus Carlo's triumph is her triumph. When an old student, Ramil presents himself at her doorstep with the Math Quiz Bee's test paper, Agatha finds herself making a once-in-a-lifetime decision.
Will she cheat and share Carlo's triumph vicariously? Or will she do the right thing and retire with nothing attached to her name?
