IKATATLUMPUNG KAARAWAN NI SUSAN

The film Ikatatlampung Kaarawan ni Susan is about the struggle of a woman with the image constructs of society. Susan is turning thirty and the pressures of marriage and career are both present with her persistent mother and her work at the office. She finds herself immobilized in between these two extremes. It seems that the only obvious choices available to women in society are family or career. But in fact, there are - and should be - more defining choices in life for a woman. It is now up to Susan to decide to choose and conform to what society dictates of her.
