Dina Ocampo is a member of the faculty of the UP College of Education where she also obtained her undergraduate and masters degrees in Special Education and Reading Education, respectively.  She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.  She researches on literacy development and literacy difficulties among bilinguals and publishes on this topic in academic articles in local and international journals.  She has also served as resource person and consultant to various programs and projects of the Department of Education, including the Basic Education Sector Reform Agenda for the National Language and Literacy Strategies for the Filipino and English languages.
