Emerald O. Flaviano is University Research Associate I of the [[Third World Studies Center]]. Aside from coordinating TWSC's Visiting Research Fellowship Program and co-coordinating with Elinor May Cruz the training and advocacy activities of the Center, she also serves as an associate editor of <i>Kasarinlan</i>. She has done research on social memory in Mendiola and on Cinemalaya and Philippine independent cinema. Emerald has a BA in Political Science from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and is currently working on an MA in Art Studies (Art Theory and Criticism) in the same university. She is a member of the Young Critics Circle Film Desk. | |||
