Dr. Belinda A. Aquino is a former faculty member of the U.P. UP National College of Public Administration and Governance. She left the college to join the University of Hawaii wherein she is now a Professor Emeritus.
Dr. Aquino served as the director of the Center for Philippine Studies and as fellow of the Policy Center of Hawaii of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Her Ph.D. degree was conferred upon by Cornell University, a school within the prestigious school Ivy League in the United States.
