TheUP-DOST Core Group was established in 1997 through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Science and Technology-Science EducationInstitute (DOST-SEI) and the UP Diliman. Itsmain function is to attend to the Republic Act 7687 scholars of UP Diliman. Monitoring of the students' academic performance, release of their stipends, andmanagement of the Science and Technology Learning Assistance Program has becomepart of the service that DOST offers the students. Located at the DLRC-2 office, Kamia Residence Hall, DOST also offers 10 computers with printers acquired in 1998 for the use of the scholars. | |||
