Course Objectives&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To acquire an understanding of the formulation and application of mathematical models for surface water and groundwater flow &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To be able to use these models in several cases of water resources planning and management problems&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Course Outline&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1.	Introduction (1 h lecture)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2.	Watershed Hydrology Modeling (3 h lecture)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3.	Computer Workshop with HEC-I (4 h workshop)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4.	River Hydraulic Modeling with UNET (4 h lecture)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5.	Computer Workshop with UNET (4 h workshop)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
6.	Groundwater Flow Modeling MODFLOW (4 h lecture)&lt;br /&gt;
