== Categories ==

Hi Uvle! I have created some [[Special:Categories|categories]] today. I made it for easier references. Also I have do some editing on elementary rules on editing and creating articles like those [[IskWiki!#Contributions|found here]]. I would like you to consider some checking of grammars, Hehe, I am poor with grammars.

The red colored words on number 5 naturally have no link, while that red one on 6 has link but the page [[Help:Editing]] is not yet existing, I am planning to do some furnishing with it in the near future by means of my experiences on wikipedia. ^_^

If you will [http://iskwiki.upd.edu.ph/index.php?title=IskWiki!&action=edit&section=1 click here], naturally I didn't put any wiki on the <nowiki>[[Category:</nowiki>''Category''<nowiki>]]</nowiki> word something there like I did here, to show to users and editors that they '''must''' put that format on the bottom of their pages for easy references... The italicized Category means that it is replaceable by the set of categories I prepared in the link that follows on 7. I would like to add some details on how to create categories for editors' references, but I decided to put it into the [[Help:Editing]] page... Hi! Thanks a lot for your help. We truly appreciate it. Step 4 saying "click here" has no link. I'm also puzzled by your statement in the Main Page saying "Unknown IP addresses are subjecting for reverting edits." There is in fact no consideration for IP addresses when logging in, since only UP Webmail account matters. Enlighten us please. :)
::Oh, yes yes. maybe we should delete it, honest mistake. ^_^ Sometimes there are users without Webmail accounts yielding unknown IP addresses that do major edits on pages (but not create articles).. hehe. that's why. Ahm, step four, I didn't put any link to it, to show to users where they should click when they want to create articles. that is highlighted red. for example, if we look to search for [http://iskwiki.upd.edu.ph/index.php/Special:Search?search=bird&go=Search bird], it will not give us an article describing a bird in itself, but only bird watching. so as you observe, there is a super redded word there, "create this page", and that's what i am talking about. ^_^--[[User:Jmtirao|Jmtirao]] 14:47, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

I found some articles [[NEC_Seminars|here]] that features seminars, for example [[Effective Communication for Engineers]] that was dated March 2009. I am afraid that such articles with hyperlinks will be outdated, I can find no reason why  ''individual'' articles describing the seminars are existing, maybe we should incorporate only brief descriptions to the table I provided rather than creating articles for them. Hi! With regards to the templates found [[User_talk:Jmtirao#Welcome_Menu.7E.7EDEVELOP|here]], I put it into my talk page for testing, yes. Having a welcome page for the Community Portal is best, but I think having another welcome note for new contributors is necessary. I have that template from my userpage on Wikipedia, and still I am thinking how to model new welcome templates (for Portal and users) fit for iskWiki!.

I think welcome note for new contributors is necessary, this is so to have them some few "orientations" on how to edit and help contributing to iskWiki. I think if we shall build up a template with "formula" like <nowiki>{{welcome}}</nowiki> here, that if ever they put it into talk pages of new users..in other words, kapag nilagay yung <nowiki>{{welcome}}</nowiki> sa page nila, may iyon ang makikita nila, with few stuff originally found within iskWiki. Got my point?

== The welcome template ==

Hi! Thanks for the effort of inserting <nowiki>{{welcome}}</nowiki> template to the pages of new users. Maybe we should insert the template on the user's talk page so that they may be notified that they received a new message, not on the user page, because I do believe that it is reserved for the user's description on himself. Maybe red links of new users will direct us to go into the user's page (if we look down on the tabs below that site). If that happens, we may consider clicking the "discussion" button and plug there the template; thus they will never know that somebody send them a welcome note. in this way, new users may be notified that they received new message that shows our welcome note to him. In any way, thanks for the effort. i am still finding ways as soon as possible to incorporate new ideas to the template, as well as successfully create all the pages linking to such template.
