The '''University Scholar''' or '''Chancellor's List''' is a merit award for students who attained a general weighted average of 1.45 (or at least magna cum laude standing) and above in use at the University of the Philippines Diliman. 

Most constituent universities use the term 'University Scholar' while the [[UP Open University]] utilizes the term 'Chancellor's List'. Consistent grant of this merit award will reward the student the Latin honor of either ''magna cum laude'' (GWA from 1.2001 to 1.4500) or ''summa cum laude'' (GWA from 1.000 to 1.2000) upon graduation.
