View source for Guidelines for posting links to news from non-UP sources

These Guidelines apply specifically to posting news items under the [[IskWiki:Current events#UP In the News|UP In the News]] sub-section of iskWiki! [[IskWiki:Current events|Current Events]].

* The news item must come from reputable sources. 
* The news must not be more than 6 days after the reporting of the event.
* Each linked item must follow this format:
        * [<url here> "Original title in quotation marks"] (Name of the Online Publication - Date)
* Links to news older than 6 days may be removed by anybody on iskWiki!.

* More news can be "discovered" by searching [http://news.google.com Google News] or the websites of reputable national news organizations, using "University of the Philippines" as keywords.
