Elinor May Cruz is a University Research Associate of the [[Third World Studies Center]]. She is also associate editor of <i>Kasarinlan: Philippine Journal of Third World Studies</i>. She has been involved in researches on memory and violent protests; ICT4D<ref>http://www.sirca.org.sg/programs/about-sirca-ii/projects-and-pis/asia/cybersex-in-the-anti/</ref>; risk, discourse, and the body; the mass transit system in Metro Manila; and violence, human rights, and democracy in the Philippines. She was awarded the Gawad Tsanselor Para sa Natatanging REPS (Research cluster) in 2016.
